This wedding with Sarah and Merrit will go down as one of my all-time favorites in history. Their wedding was set on a gorgeous day in May, nestled back on a beautiful farm at The Densmore Farm in Cleveland, GA, right by the creek and beautiful green trees. These two adore each other and are just precious and I loved how their story and personalities crafted the most beautiful wedding day from start to finish. And the beautifully crafted florals made by her talented sister, to the gorgeous beading detail on her dress, to the authentic Moroccan rugs lining the ceremony aisle and every other little detail topped it all off.

Sarah and Merritt, both value authentic love, friendship, family and fun and that was easy to see by the people that surrounded them, both family and friends and by the way they incorporated little pieces of their story into their vows, how they practiced the ‘Dip and Kiss’ a million times to get it JUST RIGHT as they exited their ceremony….Oh, and we can’t leave out the fact that they KNOW how to throw a party… (Did I mention… CROWD SURFING? oh yes.!! More on that later).

It’s hard to pick out my top favorite moments of the day but I’d have to say, I’ve nailed it down to at least three favorite key moments. (I know, only 3 from a whole day? Yes, if not, you’d be reading this post for days ;)) First, my heart just absolutely melted when she did the first look with her dad and two brothers. Sarah and her family are really close and it was so heartwarming to watch her dad beam with joy to see her daughter adorned in white, knowing he would be escorting her down the aisle to marry her forever best friend just a few short hours later. And if it couldn’t get any sweeter?… it did. One of her brothers had to look away as tears welled up in his eyes. I think it’s really sweet when a bride decides to do a first look with her brother as well as her dad and having pictures to remember those moments are PRICELESS!

Second on my top 3 list of favorites of the day would most definitely be the first look with her sweet groom, Merritt. The first thing he said when he saw his bride for the first time was, “OOOOHH Girl!”. He was all smiles and their first look exuded such joy and excitement as they giggled, snuck kisses, and anticipated finally becoming husband and wife.

There were definitely more moments I could highlight but one that will forever stick in my mind? Remember the crowd surfing? YES. Sarah and Merritt not only love to dance and have a good time, but the dance floor was FULL of all of their friends and family getting down… non-stop! And the best part was that both the Bride and Groom were lifted in the air and went crowd surfing. And not to mention, when it comes time to dance, you will most definitely find me breaking it down on the dance floor WITH you from time to time 😉

I am incredibly honored to know these two and know that their love for the Lord and for each other will take them on many adventures in their marriage and I can’t wait to watch it unfold. I will be forever grateful to have had the honor of capturing their wedding day!

Greetings, I believe your web site might be having internet browser compatibility issues. When I look at your blog in Safari, it looks fine but when opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping issues. I simply wanted to provide you with a quick heads up! Aside from that, wonderful blog! Dorene Kipp Dell
